I was going to post something patriotic yesterday but didn't get it done. This photo was taken in the early 1950's during the Korean war. John and Melvin both served there. JV was still a kid in school and I think Wilbert was too. J is wearing a sailor hat and Bill is wearing one of his brother's uniform. Melvin is in the graduation hat. I wonder if it was his graduation? Left to right, front row: Maxine, John, Violet, Florene, Melvin; back: JV, Wilbert (Bill), John. Please feel free to make comments, update information, corrections.
